In 2017, the first committed diplomatic climate network in Paris was officially launched in the presence of a hundred participants representing sixty-eight foreign embassies. Cooperation, the exchange of good practices, the implementation of concrete projects, the valorization of the numerous actions carried out by the embassies in Paris and by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, this is the objective of this network. By adhering to the charter, the voluntary embassies affirm their commitment to act daily and in their immediate environment in favor of safeguarding the planet. The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs stressed that each embassy accepts to be a sign of change by adopting on its behalf a number of sustainable development objectives, particularly in terms of awareness, mobility, fluid management, waste sorting, biodiversity, etc.
