Plüm énergie and Akuo join forces to provide green and local electricity to committed French organisations and companies
Plüm énergie, a supplier of green, local and general interest electricity, and Akuo, a producer of renewable and decentralised energy, announce the signing of 8 electricity supply contracts with players committed to building a new model of society that is fairer and resolutely respectful of the environment. This is in response to the two main challenges of the 21st century: the success of the energy and agricultural transitions.
An enlightened electron Proteiformes (NGOs, SMEs, ETIs) and working in different sectors of society (i.e. agriculture, insurance, education, humanitarian, industrial, cultural...), these actors commit themselves, through these contracts, to the emergence of new means of renewable, local and decentralised energy production. In this way, they participate in the creation of value in France by promoting the creation of local jobs, social integration and the transition to organic farming.
The signatories :
- ACTED, French NGO of international solidarity
- FUTURAe, school of creative industries,
- C'Juste, the alternative and solidarity-based fruit and vegetable distribution network,
- Filhet-Allard & Cie, an independent insurance brokerage group,
- CinéFrance Studios, production and performing arts company
- Atawey, manufacturer of hydrogen recharging stations,
- La Ferme du Bec Hellouin, organic farm and permaculture school,
- Kusmi Tea, Organic quality teas and infusions.
Plüm énergie and Akuo strengthen their partnership
For Plüm énergie and Akuo, the signing of these contracts represents a new stage in their respective development by paving the way for the private sale of renewable energy. It also illustrates the relevance of the rapprochement between the two entities, of production and supply of renewable energy, working together for a better readability of the renewable energy sector and a greater transparency of energy supply offers.
As a humanitarian actor working with more than 20 million vulnerable people in often the most remote areas of the world, we also seek to increase our actions in favour of the environment. This ambition to contribute to a "3 Zero" world ("Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty") is reflected in our global purchasing and investment policy. In this context, we recently selected Plüm énergie and Akuo to supply our Paris premises with green, local and general interest electricity following a market analysis. This initiative, coupled with the decision taken in September to offset our emissions related to the air travel of our international teams and the recycling of nearly 3 tonnes of our office waste for almost 3 years, allows us to work towards offsetting about 10% of our annual emissions, a first step towards carbon neutrality!
