Paris Habitat: 8 new Parisian sites receive the eco-garden label and a social housing program labeled Biodivercity
Eight sites have just been labeled in 2018, bringing to 12 the number of labeled gardens. This new award is the symbol of exemplary ecological management of Paris Habitat green spaces, implemented by the gardeners of the management. To obtain this label, eight areas are observed: soil quality, variety of plantations and their management without chemicals (fertilizers and pesticides), light pollution, water and waste management, training of gardeners and the reception of the public.
In addition, Paris Habitat has also been awarded the BiodiverCity ™ label for an operation in the 13th arrondissement. This is a first for a social housing program in Île-de-France. This certification is the result of a synergistic work of the teams of the construction department and the management of green spaces.
