Maisons du Monde formulated its first carbon commitments in 2016. Since then, the group has strengthened its objectives and its strategy.
mobilizing all of its teams to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions along its value chain. From the design of products to their end-of-life valuation, through the daily activity of our stores, the fight against climate change is a structuring and ambitious element of our "Let's Engage!".
Maisons du Monde has thus committed to reducing its direct emissions related to store and logistics activities by 50% between 2016 and 2024 and to supply all stores with renewable electricity.
In 2019, these objectives will be extended to all stages of the product life cycle to ensure alignment with the objectives of the product.
the Paris Agreement by submitting them for validation to the Science Based Target Initiative.
