La Banque Postale Asset Management finalises its 100% SRI switchover and confirms its status as a leader in sustainable finance

With 17 new SRI-labelled funds, La Banque Postale Asset Management (LBP AM) is fulfilling its commitment, made in 2018, to become the first generalist asset manager in France to offer a 100% SRI range by the end of 2020. The asset management company, a subsidiary of La Banque Postale, confirms its status as a leader in sustainable finance.

In April 2018, the La Banque Postale group announced the pioneering choice of LBP AM to become the first generalist fund manager to offer a range of open-ended funds 100% labelled "SRI Label" by 2020, thus making the choice of a clear and demanding benchmark to accompany its clients.

We are very proud to have succeeded in keeping this pioneering and structuring commitment announced two years ago. In addition to the SRI label, the in-depth work carried out by all our teams to integrate our proprietary and innovative GREaT extra-financial analysis method into each of our four areas of expertise in a cross-disciplinary and systematic manner is a decisive asset in supporting our clients in the construction and implementation of their responsible investment policy. The finalisation of this essential step will enable us to focus on the development of our offer and the strengthening of our initiatives to promote a better consideration of our 4 priority issues: climate, biodiversity, territorial development and human rights & equality.
Emmanuelle Mourey, Chairman of the Executive Board of La Banque Postale Asset Management (LBPAM)

In total since 2018, LBP AM has labelled 106 funds with the Public SRI Label, representing 40 billion in assets under management, i.e. 20% of the SRI market offer in France. Some of these funds were transferred to Ostrum AM as part of the merger transaction finalised on 31 October. LBP AM now manages €25 billion in assets under management in open-ended labelled funds.
