LVMH : CELEBRATING THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL DIRECTION
News published on: 24-10-2017

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of its Environment Direction, the LVMH group presented the objectives of its LIFE program (LVMH Initiatives for the Environment) in attendance of a dozen CEO's from the group's brands, Bertrand Piccard, initiator and President of the Solar Impulse Foundation and Tony Estanguet, Co-Chair of the Paris 2024 Bid Committee.

The objectives of the LIFE program have an impact on the entire value chain of the group, and are based on four pillars: improving the environmental performance of products, being even more attentive to the traceability and conformity of the raw materials used, reducing CO2 emissions, and improving the energy efficiency of the sites.

During this event, LVMH also announced that they will double their internal carbon fund (created during the COP 21) by 2018, in order to meet the 25% reduction target for greenhouse gas emissions related to their activities by 2020.
