Last October 6th, La Poste was rated 75/100 in PAP50’s barometer, which allowed the firm to climb to the fifth position in the study led by WWF France.
The evaluation of the 53 companies, from varied sectors, focused on paper consumption, the responsibility of the paper used and the implemented actions to optimize the collection of users’ papers.
La Poste group won fifth place thanks to its highly reinforced paper policy. Indeed, La Poste mobilizes all its entities to promote the use of responsible paper, eco-labeled or from sustainably managed forests (92.5% of the paper used by the company).
La Poste, also engaged in the circular economy, set up in 2012 a collection and recycling program of office paper called Recy’go. This initiative permitted to collect 55,000 tons of paper in 4 years.
