For the fourth year in a row, the French Global Compact network awarded its best Communications Awards on the relevance and quality of the extra-financial reports of the different participants.
The Global Compact is a United Nations initiative launched in 2000 to encourage companies around the world to adopt a socially responsible attitude by committing to integrating and promoting a number of human rights principles, international labor standards, and the fight against corruption. The Global Compact, while essentially targeting the corporate world, also encourages the participation of civil society, professional organizations, governments, UN agencies, universities and other organizations.
La Poste Group was awarded the "GC Advanced" category for the quality and relevance of its commitment to sustainable development. The jury was composed of former laureates and specialists from the corporate, institutional, associative and academic worlds.
The GC Advanced category represents the highest level of differentiation in the Global Compact. It aims to create an ambitious CSR performance standard and promotes transparency.
