Air France has introduced new travel cabins on its medium and long haul networks. But what happens to the old ones?
The project was to identify the best ways to recover disassembled cabins. The aim is to recycle the old cabins in an intelligent manner, as part of a sustainable development approach. Air France works together with UUDS, a service company specialized in reconditioning aircrafts seats. UUDS is certified to dismantle and repair old pieces of aircrafts seats. 80% of the dismantling chain is valorized.
