The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an international non-financial reference benchmark on climate change, assesses the commitments and performance of large companies in controlling climate risks. This year, Altarea Cogedim received the A- grade for the third time in a row. The CDP welcomes the initiatives conducted by the Group and its commitments to control greenhouse gas emissions.
The CDP's methodology consisted in comparing the 395 largest companies in market capitalization in France and Benelux on behalf of its 827 global institutional investors, signatories of the CDP. The questionnaire focuses on carbon management practices: governance, strategy and adopted initiatives, objectives, risks and opportunities, as well as their greenhouse gas emissions.
This ranking, which distinguishes the performance of the actions implemented by Altarea to reduce its carbon footprint, comes only a few weeks after the very good results obtained at GRESB 2017, a reference benchmark for CSR performance, where Altarea Cogedim ranked first among the listed companies.
