Célia Blauel, deputy mayor in charge of environment, water and Climate Action Plan, and Jean Louis Missika, deputy mayor in charge of urbanism, architecture and economic development welcomed on 12th october 2015 at City Hall big enterprises for the signing ceremony of Paris Climate Action charter.

In this special year  of COP21, Paris will carry the voice of major cities and regions. For the first time over the past 20 years of negociations, a new deal on climate change can be found beetween the States with the objective of maintaining global warming below 2 ° C. If negotiations will be at the states level, national contributions and the success with the objectives to be set by the Governments also depend on the local level. It is in local communities that are many practical levers, because cities generate almost 70% of emissions of greenhouse warming and because they have already deployed innovative solutions for the climate.

With this, the City of Paris wants to value the liabilities of Parisian actors and this is why 19 new companies sign alongside the Municipality the Paris Climate Action Charter :  Aéroport de ParisAlatrea CogedimBHV MaraisBibliothèque Nationale de FranceCasino group, CastoramaFrance TélévisionsGecinaGuerlainIcadeKeringle LouvreLVMHNatixisNexitySolar HotelTF1VinciViparis.
